Nashville’s very own Boy Named Banjo has a new single “Feel For You”.

These guys once weren’t even old enough to step foot in any bar around downtown Nashville, so they set up shop outside of Robert’s Western World for anyone who wanted to hear their unique sound. One night a drunk passerby yelled “Play that thing, Banjo Boy! Faster now, ya hear? C’mon Banjo!” Which birthed the name, Boy Named Banjo.

In 2012 they recorded their first album The Tanglewood Sessions which gained a huge local following. Featuring songs “Blue Hole Bridge” and “Letter to a Lonely Girl” which now have millions of streams on Spotify.

Long Story Short released in 2014 and helped them earn a spot on the 2015 Bonnaroo lineup. Later that year they were nominated for Best Local Band by The Tennessean.

Shortly after releasing Lost on Main EP, they hit the road touring and haven’t looked back since.

Boy Named Banjo’s sound has grown from one album to another, yet the quality of music has grown with it. Their new single “Feel for You” is a song that the lyrics hit you straight in the heart, while the tune will keep you dancing.

“There’s nothing I can say, nothing I can do, to make you feel the way, the way I feel for you” This lyric is a powerful statement of love, such that no three words nor a million dollar ring could show you how much you mean to me. Even when you wonder if your lover feels the same way “there’s nothing I can say, nothing I can do, but every single day, I fall more in love with you”.

Every single day I’ve listened to this song I fall more in love with it. “Feel For You” released November 2nd on streaming platforms and Catch Boy Named Banjo on one of their upcoming tour stops. If you live in Nashville, they’re headlining Marathon Music Works on November 23rd.
