How do Tim and Faith compare to other great couples of country music?

Country fans have reason to raise a red Solo cup this Memorial Day weekend. Toby Keith is headed back to Hawkeye State.

The country star plans to headline next year’s Tree Town Music Festival, an annual event in Forest City. Tree Town returns to Heritage Park from May 23-26, 2019.

Fans can purchase early bird four-day general admission tickets this weekend for $115. Ticket price increases on Tuesday and additional ticket options go on sale at a later date.

Keith, an Oklahoma native, released a compilation album, “The Bus Songs,” last fall. The album featured the single “Wacky Tobaccy.”

Known for hits such as “Red Solo Cup,” “As Good As I Once Was” and “I Love This Bar,” the country star performed in Des Moines at the 2013 Iowa State Fair. He also performed at Burlington Steamboat Days in 2014, the Jones County Fair in 2015 and headlined Guthrie’s River Ruckus in 2017.

The Memorial Day weekend festival, in its fifth year, continued Saturday with a headlining performance from Keith Urban. Past headliners include Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and more.
