8 Must Eat At Restaurants Owned By Country Music Artists

Have you ever been on a road trip and not known where to eat? I have! It is nice to eat at restaurants that you may not have had the opportunity to eat at when you are at home. Fortunately for us, country music artists have developed some of the most well-known and raved about restaurants around the United States. Below you will find a list of my personal top 8 restaurants.

1. Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede

Located in Pigeon Forge, TN and Branson, MO, you will find an activity that the whole family can enjoy. At Dolly’s Dixie Stampede you and the family can enjoy a show put on with 32 horses that know how to do all the cool tricks. While enjoying the show, you will be indulging in a full-course feast. One thing that sets Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede apart is the fact that it offers a full-course feast with all of the goodies, as well as a full-course feast for vegetarians and those who eat gluten free. Here is an example of what you can expect to eat at the Dixie Stampede: A Mouth-Watering Tender Whole Rotisserie Chicken, Delicious Hickory Smoked Barbecued Pork Loin, Original Creamy Vegetable Soup, Scrumptious Homemade Biscuit, Hot Buttered Corn on the Cob, Tasty Herb-basted Potato, Stampede’s very own Specialty Dessert, and Unlimited Coca-Cola®, tea or coffee.

2. Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar

You can find Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar in 3 different locations spread out throughout Oklahoma (Thackerville, Catoosa, & Oklahoma City). The name of the restaurant comes from Toby Keith’s chart topping song, I Love This Bar. However, people are going in singing this and coming out believing it. Who cannot love a bar that always has drink specials going on? I Love This Bar offers daily beer specials, along with their famous Frozen Jack and Coke. The food menu offers a lot of down-home goods, such as fall-off-the-bone St. Louis Style Ribs and Thick-Cut Pork Chops served with a side of I Love This Bar’s Signature BBQ Sauce. If you have the chance to get out and grab some food and drinks with friends, I highly recommend checking out Toby Keith’s place.

3. Florida Georgia Line’s FGL House

Nashville has a new place in town to listen to some music, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy some drinks with friends. FGL House has four levels including the entrance level (2nd and 3rd floor), the Little Red Corvette located on the 1st floor, and the Cruise Rooftop, which is clearly on the 4th level. Each level gives off a vibe of its own. You can check out the FGL House website to find events such as live music, Preds games, and the Sundaze Brunch. The Sundaze Brunch is a popular menu that includes items such as the FGL Chicken Waffle, Country Cast Iron, The Ultimate Bloody Mary, and the Tipsy Daycation Mimosa. FGL House also offers a children’s menu for anyone under the age of 12. The menu includes all of the kiddie favorites such as cheeseburger, pizza and mac & cheese. If you are looking for a place that offers a little bit of everything, FGL House is the place for you.

4. Blake Shelton’s Ole Red

Nashville is the place to be if you want to try new restaurants. Blake Shelton’s Ole Red is opening up a new location in Nashville to go along with the other locations in Gatlinburg, TN and Tishomingo, OK. This place offers a place to hang out and have a good time. One unique feature is that Ole Red offers private bookings. If you need a place to have a business meeting or host an event, but still want some great food, then this may be an option for you!

5. Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is has 32 different locations, with 19 of those being in the United States. Depending where you are, Margaritaville offers a variety of restaurants that includes: Landshark Bar & Grill, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Air Margaritaville, and the famous 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. Giving you plenty options is what Jimmy Buffett does best. From delicious burgers, to fresh seafood, Margaritaville has it all. If you need that after work Friday night drink, or that mid-week brunch at a place that offers a friendly atmosphere, then Margaritaville is the place to be!

6. Alan Jackson’s AJ’s Good Time Bar

If you’ve been to the Broadway strip in Nashville, chances are you’ve been to AJ’s Good Time Bar. It is one of the most popular restaurants in Downtown Nashville, voted the number one honky tonk in Nashville by Billboard magazine. AJ’s Good Time Bar stays open until 2:30am with Karaoke starting every night at 7:00pm on the third floor. It is a must-stop bar if you are looking to have a good time.

7. Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row

You can find Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row all over in Arizona as it is in 3 locations (Scottsdale, Tempe, & Gilbert), as well as, Nashville, TN. Whiskey Row offers a variety of food with items such as Grilled Whiskey Wings, Sliders, Chicken Cobb, Burgers, Sandwiches, and the famous Beer Can Rotisserie Chicken. Whiskey Row offers live music, private bookings, and reservations for VIP Bottle Service. People are raving about Dierks’ restaurant. I would say if you get the chance, stop in and try it for yourself.

8.Kenny Rogers’ Roasters

Kenny Rogers’ Roasters restaurant has 11 locations outside of the United States. Fortunately, there is one Roasters located in the United States at the Ontario Mills Mall in California. Roasters has received multiple awards for its great food. It received the American’s Choice award 3 times for the best chicken chain. Roasters has also been awarded the Master Franchisee of the Year, The Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise - Keris Award, and the The Brand Laureate Award. It is obvious that Kenny Rogers must be doing something right in order to rack up all of these awards. I can say with confidence that this is a must stop restaurant!

Aside from the music business, it is evident that country music artists are staying busy with all of their “spare” time by opening restaurants and bars. One thing is for sure, these artists are down to create and share a good time with everyone. All of these restaurants have at least one thing in common, great food! If you are looking for a place that will melt your mouth and has a great atmosphere, go try out one of these places with your friends and let us know what you think!
